OK, thanks for the answer. Like I said, we are likely to try this variant at some point – if we do, I will probably write a few words here. If you write more about your practical experience, I will be happy to read that, too.Another couple of random points:
1. I like the Crisis Cards from "Exodus" and would not like to put them away. However, the probability of drawing a CAC is indeed much lower with those forty cards in the deck. Would you have any idea on how to deal with this?
One option that comes to my mind is to use the six "CAG chooses cards". We could treat them as "CAC cards by proxy". If you draw one of those six Crisis Cards, you discard it, reset the Pursuit Track and start revealing and discarding cards from the Crisis Deck until you reach the a Cylon Attack Card. The moment you do, you play it – voila!
(Useful note: the proportion of attack cards to non-attack cards would remain roughly unchanged, about 17%).
2. I like the Basestar Bridge options. Some of them are situational but in general the revealed Cylons have more to do than just sitting either on Caprica or in the Cylon Fleet. Do you think that any locations from the Basestar Bridge may be broken in your variant? Or is it still safe to use them?
(My impression is that there are no major changes and the BB may well stay in use.)
