Well-written post. Let me see if I can answer some of your questions.

There isn't one picture of the gameboard on BGG,

Thanks for reminding me. I meant to get some up this weekend, but I got derailed by a massive project.

there are no gameplay videos,

This is true. But gameplay videos require (IMHO) actual components. I have had a physical copy for a bit over a week, and during that time the videographer I want to work with has been in Texas. We'll see what we can put together.

and your own website doesn't have a single image of the game components or an individual forum for any of these games.

Each game site has images under the Images tabs at the bottom. There is a Tempest folder in the AEG forums at www.alderac.com/forum. Since you couldn't find them, I'm sure others are failing as well, so I ought to get them linked to the front page.

I've said earlier that the theme of Tempest for me personally is drab and somewhat boring,

Would you rather have had no theme? That's a serious question, and not meant as snarky as it sounds, but I can't think of a way to rephrease it, other than "What would you rather have had?", whcih still sounds snarky.

It's also bizarre that you are choosing to reveal yet another game at Essen, which could potentially overshadow your entire Tempest line before a single game is available at retail.

It's a gamble, yes. OTOH, Tempest + surprise coudl turn the AEG booth into a real happenin' place.

Please find a better way to start getting the word out about what these Tempest games really are and how they play, or I think your going to have a whole line of duds on your hands, and I'd hate to see that, since after reading both rulebooks, they seem like amazing games.

We did post a Courtier Lite print-and-play, and if people are downloading it and playing it, they are nopt commenting on BGG. WEe can provide tools, but it's up to fans like you to create the buzz. And I say that earnestly, because The Hotness relies a lot on comments and feedback and other buzz from the fan base.

Hope this answers your questions. If not, LMK.
