Further, I notice the rules also state (again, on pg. 14) that the max value of credit that can be obtained = the total of "the number of Design cards of the same style and Design cards that will be changed to fit that style during upcoming Fashion Shows..." (plural).
I now believe though, that the designer intended for us to be able to take multiple credits based on multiple collections, even though you are not planning to sell the collections.
Why? Because he mentioned in the FAQ that "You can decide to not go to show.". So all designs you have are potential collections because if you can take a credit based on ONE collection and not go on show, you sure as hell can take 2 CREDITS on 2 COLLECTIONS even though you only display and sell ONE of them.

Additionally, and more importantly, the field itself on the board has spaces for four pawns, but also has an infinity symbol at the end (presumably indicating that there is no limit to the number of pawns that may be placed there).
This is a good catch, I never thought of it!

Unfortunately, this conclusion still leaves me with more questions. If you can borrow against multiple collections, can the same design be part of multiple "potential" collections? If you intend to borrow multiple times, how do you track which designs have already been used to form "potential" collections?
I would play it that the same design can only be used as part of one potential collection ONCE. Maybe group the credit card together with the designs that were used to obtain the credit? :p
