The rule book clarifies in the card section that you must re-roll BEFORE taking any actions on your die. That would include crystals and energy. So if your die shows energy or crystals, you would have to take those actions before doing anything else, so if you wanted to re-roll it would have to be the first thing you do. If your die shows a power card then you can wait to re-roll, but not after you've drawn the card.↧
