I have read many posts and reviews debating whether to get the CotG or SoS as a first purchase.My worry is that the vanilla version will get stale quickly as others have mentioned. I play games such as Quarriors and Dominion with my 10 yr old son so it's not like the added complexity would be an issue. I'd still like to know if Storm of Souls non-gamer friendly.
I don't have a tablet or know someone with any of the the games.
I would also consider expansions - does "Fallen" mix well with SoS? Is the upcoming "Heroes" expansion meant for the vanilla version or SoS?
Any feedback would be most appreciated.
