Man, things seems to be a bit heated here.

Just to throw my hat into the ring.

I dont have my copy of the game in hand yet, so need to reserve full judgement until then. But I am very happy so far. I am expecting to get a beautiful edition of what was a very ugly but highly regarded game. This is going to be shipped to me in the UK for a total price of $35. That is almost the same price it will cost me to get the crappy old version with local UK shipping. And I think we are getting some extra cool stuff thrown in, although I have lost track.

A great deal.

So things are taking quite a lot longer than planned, so what? It's not like they aren't clearly trying very hard. I'll sit back, play some of the many other games in my collection, and enjoy it when it arrives. For comparison, if I buy an 18xx game from Deep Thought games it takes 12-18 months for them to get my order made, the game itself costs $70, and shipping to the UK is $33.

Gloria Romae!
