Hi Frank, few info for the quality since i had made almost the same things as for our card game Eragra where the quality was very good. Regarding the cards we used 300 gms art paper with linen finish. I had seen some samples and approved them. At least for the matter of the cards.
But regarding the wooden part i will check it ASAP cause i choose carefully the components. If something like that exists to all the WC copies, then is a "problem", at least for my taste as a Publisher. I give more importance in the quality first.
But even to our previous games: we had found several items which were damaged or bad. Is something i have met even in very well known games but the gameplay was nice so it was ok for me the quality matter. I don't say it doesn't count- to the contrary..just the gameplay was fantastic. Anyway i had check the original samples and were ok, but your notices are helpful and i will take a closer look at this with the factory and trust me the production is not so cheap as you may think. Still i have to see if they have done this to all the copies.
