These are all role selection games, so they're mechanically different. I enjoy many of them, but I wouldn't say they're similar to 7 wonders. I'd say Among the Stars (using drafting mechanics and selling cards for money) are very similar. I'd recommend trying one of these (such as Glory to Rome) and seeing if you're interested.I guess the question is are all of these qualities important?
Glory to Rome is longer game than 7 wonders, usually taking twice as long, but is very strategic and otherwise has multiple paths to victory. My own feeling is Role selection games are meant for 3-4 players but can fit more if necessary, where as 7 wonders fits 3-7 equally fine.
Dixit is a fun light game which requires some thought, but it's very different than the other games listed here. It doesn't have "multiple paths to victory", but it tends to be quick.
